The magnet program will be housed at the site formerly known as Ridgecrest Elementary School. The program will begin as a K-5 program and will grow each year as the students are promoted from grade to grade eventually becoming a K-12 program. Bus transportation will be provided and students will be selected via a lottery for the available class slots. We will be hosting informational meetings for parents and their children throughout the parish the week of May 21, 2012, at the times and locations noted below. These meetings are open to all parents of Concordia Parish children. If you are interested in your child participating in the magnet program this would be a great opportunity to discover additional information about the program. Parents interested in their child attending the magnet program will receive applications and other pertinent information at these meetings. These meetings will be replicated at each location to allow parents from throughout the parish an opportunity to learn about this exciting new program.
