The VLE Second Graders presented their
Famous Americans program
on Thursday, February 19th, at 6:00 p.m.
at the Vidalia Jr. High School gym.
The students did a terrific job sharing interesting facts about Famous Americans.  Thanks to our students, teachers, and parents for making this event a huge success!
Special thanks to Mr. Shirley and Vidalia Junior High for letting us use their gym for our program.

Congratulations to our Vidalia Lower Elementary Librarian,
Ms. Susan Mingee, who was recently named
Concordia Parish Educator of the Year
by the Vidalia Chamber of Commerce.

Friday, January 23rd was our 100th Day in School!

For one hundred days we've been in school.
We all think that is really cool!
We are 100 days smarter, that is true.
One hundred days of reading, math and writing, too.
Every morning, we pledge and sing.
All day long, we learn so many things.
Now it's time to have fun. Let's give a big cheer.
Hip, Hip, Hooray, the 100th Day is here!

Mr. Charles Anderson, VLE Principal

It is a great pleasure of mine to be the principal here at Vidalia Lower. My office is always open, and I welcome you to our campus.

Ms. Betty Johnson,  VLE Assistant Principal
I am writing this to share how excited I am to join the Vidalia Lower Elementary School as your new Assistant Principal.  I feel honored and privileged to join the VLE community.  I believe teamwork and open communication are very important and know that together we will continue to ensure a positive and productive learning environment for our students.
During the course of the 2014-2015 school year, it is my hope that we will work together to provide the students of VLE the best possible opportunities in preparing them to be world-class citizens ready to conquer the challenges of the 21st century.  I am excited to help support the students, parents, teachers and community of Vidalia Lower Elementary, and I look forward to meeting and working with each of you in the coming weeks.  My door will always be open, and I welcome your involvement.  It is my desire to work with you as a partner to ensure your child's success in education.
