Our Mission Statement and Philosophy

Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Concordia Parish School System is to provide developmentally appropriate experiences that address our students’ needs, interests and goals and that enable them to become life-long learners in a changing world.

Philosophy:

The Concordia Parish School Board embraces the concept that all children can learn and pledges to provide all students a broad range of educational experiences which are directed by qualified personnel. The Board believes that the educational program must create opportunities for each child to become cognizant of his/her rights and responsibilities as a member of a democratic society and to develop knowledge and skills which lead to fulfilling his/her potential as a productive member of the community. The Concordia Parish School Board believes that maintaining close ties to community leaders, business leaders, parents, and other agencies will enhance its ability to fulfill its mission as an agent of the community.
