Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC)
The Purpose of Special Education Advisory Council is to provide advice and feedback regarding special education policies, procedures, and resources. Additionally, the council shall engage in outreach activities to the community at large to increase the level of knowledge, support, and collaboration with respect to special education. This year's council will consist of 9 members.
Focus of SEAC
- Promote communication, collaboration, and trust among educational providers, students, parents, and school district administrators.
- Serve as a connection to the community at large regarding the role of public schools in addressing the needs of students with disabilities.

Glenda Jones (parent), Erica Carter (parent), Kimberly Rodgers (parent), Loretta Blankenstein (parent), Felicia Wilson (Community stakeholder), Julie White (Special Education Teacher), Dr. Brenda Moore (Supervisor of Child Welfare and Attendance), Toya Bachus (Superintendent) , and Ashley Prunty (Director of Special Education).
