2024-2025 Coolidge Scholarship
The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four- year, merit scholarship that can be used at any accredited college or University in the United States. Any high school JUNIOR who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2026 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major.
The application requires that candidates read President Coolidge's Autobiography and a few other readings and then write three essays.

The Joseph Rogillio Wilson Scholarship
SECTION I APPLICANT INFORMATION: Complete all demographic information including your GPA, tentative college of choice and tentative college major. The GPA must be at least a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and it will be verified by the school counselor.
SECTION II EDUCATION: Complete all information pertaining to you High School career. Service hours pertain to any community service hours you have done and location. Be sure to list all extracurricular activities you participated in as well as offices held.
SECTION III REFERENCES: Please list contact information for three (3) NON-RELATED references. They cannot be a relative of the applicant.
ESSAY: Be sure to type and submit the essay with the application. It must have between 250 - 500 words. Please stay on the topic.

Louisiana Association of Federal Education Program Administrators Scholarship
Purpose: to provide a one-time award of $1,500 to twelve high school seniors who will be attending their first year of college. Recipients will be selected from public high schools throughout Louisiana.
Selection Process: Recipients of the LAFEPA scholarship will be selected by the LAFEPA Scholarship Committee
Selection Criteria: Recipients of the LAFEPA scholarship will be selected based upon the following criteria
Official high school transcript from fall semester 2024 signed by school counselor (20 points)
Extracurricular activities/leadership roles within the community or church ( 5 points)
Three letters of recommendation - one each from the candidate's school administrator on school letterhead, a previous of current teacher, and one from a community representative (15 point)
Financial need as described in a one-page double-spaced narrative (30 points)
A one-page essay outlining the candidate's future goals and ambitions (30 points)
Scholarship Payment: The scholarship will be made in full payable to the student. It is the responsibility of each scholarship recipient to present verification of enrollment and a tuition invoice from the institution to the Scholarship Chairperson. The scholarship will be disbursed when the president and treasurer approve the required documentation.

National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators Scholarship
Purpose: to promote student access to a variety of post-secondary education opportunities and mitigate factors that might inhibit students from pursuing their career and life goals. There are four scholarships, each worth a total on $5000, distributed over two consecutive years ($2500 each year). The scholarships are in honor of four NAFEPA members who provided our Association with valuable leadership, having given time and talents to move our Association forward as a professional organization. Two scholarships are awarded to candidates pursuing a degree, license, or certification in the field of education. The remaining two scholarships are awarded to candidates in any field of study.
Student Eligibility: The NAFEPA Scholarship Program is open to candidates meeting all the following eligibility criteria
High school senior on track to graduate by the conclusion of the 2024-2025 school year.
Enrolled in a public school district or charter school (public school academy) with at least one current NAFEPA member*; AND
Pursuing a degree, license, certification, or other professional or vocational endorsement at a post-secondary institution beginning in 2025-2026 and continuing in 2026-2027.
Year two recipients must be in good academic standing. Specific eligibility criteria for YEAR two will be shared with recipients when they are notified of their awards.

State Nominations to NAFEPA: Candidates are nominated by the NAFEPA state affiliate organization or representative. Each state selects one candidate to nominate for the national NAFEPA Scholarship Program. States with more than 100 NAFEPA members may nominate a total of two candidates.
Components:
A personal essay (up to 2 pages, double spaces) that reflects proper conventions of writing and fully addresses the required discussion points listed in the Application Checklist. 50 points
Unweighted* GPA, based on the applicant's Fall 2024 High School transcript. *To be determined by the Scholarship Committee, if not provided in the transcript. 20 points
School, community, service, leadership and/or work activities and experiences in which the applicant participated during grades 9-12, including leadership positions held. 15 points
Letters of recommendations including a letter from the student's high school principal or administrative designee, a faculty member/advisor, and a non-family member. 9 points
The application, taken as a while, tells a compelling story that aligns to the purpose of the scholarship program. 6 points
