My name is Brandon Gousset (Goo-say) and I am honored to have this opportunity to serve as your Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.  

I have a degree in Kinesiology / Health and Human Performance from The University of Louisiana at Monroe and an Educational Leader Certification.  For the last 23 years, I have taught Physical Education to students in grades Pre-K - 12th,  along with some Social Studies and Science at the Junior and High School Levels.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, training to improve my 5k race time, participating in sports, and watching Boston Celtics basketball.

I bring my work ethic to everything I do.  The best advice I can give is to always be persistent.  Persistence is defined as the fact of continuing an opinion or course of action despite difficulty or opposition.  Let's be persistent and surpass the goals we set for ourselves at Ferriday Upper!
