Title IX & Nondiscrimination Notice
The Concordia Parish School Board is committed to maintaining an educational and working environment free from all forms of sex discrimination. In accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1970 and 34 C.F.R. Part 106, the District does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs or activities, including in admissions and employment.
The District prohibits sexual harassment and sex-based discrimination by any student, employee, or third party. Every school shall educate its students and staff concerning the District’s intolerance of such harassment and requires that any such behavior be reported immediately to a school administrator or the Title IX Coordinator.
Grievance Procedures & Policy
Formal procedures for reporting and investigating Title IX complaints can be found in Policy JAAA. These procedures apply to students, parents or guardians, employees, and applicants for admission or employment. A formal investigation must be conducted and completed by district-level personnel before disciplinary consequences are delivered for Title IX sexual harassment.
