The Louisiana State Seal of Biliteracy
The Louisiana State Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by our district with support of the state in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. The Seal of Biliteracy is a very prestigious award that is highly respected by universities. Students who earn this award will receive an American Council on Education (ACE) recommendation of 4-16 college credits for foreign language, a medal to wear at graduation, and a plaque to commemorate their outstanding accomplishment.
Requirements:
- 19 ACT English
- Successful completion of all high school English course requirements
- A minimum score of "Novice-High" on the STAMP exam for your native language
